Everything has changed so rapidly in the past few weeks as Coronavirus has developed to a pandemic. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the fantastic NHS Staff working so tirelessly on our behalf.
As travel comes to a virtual halt, schools close, and we all understand the absolute importance of staying home to save lives, we took the decision early on to contact our guests and make sure that we were keeping them informed and rearranging their visits.
We will keep up to date with the recommendations from Cumbria Tourism and be in touch with anyone who has a booking as and when we hear more regarding timescales.
(April update) We have now heard that the lock down has been extending and therefore we are not able to fulfil any bookings before May 9th. We have been in touch with everyone affected and will continue to do so if this gets extended further. We are very grateful that our customers are adjusting their dates and being completely understanding.
Kirkby Lonsdale is a magical place, perfect to relax and unwind and we can’t wait to welcome our guests back. The town thrives on it’s tourism and works hard to present a charming market town against the beautiful backdrop of the most glorious countryside. Please do return once you are able to.
(May update) We have been thinking of the new ‘normal’ and of some of the ways in the future that we are able to keep our guests safe. We have always used a key lock to enable a self-check in for guests, which will be a great advantage in enabling social distancing. We also use professional cleaners, who will be following guidelines issued as we move forward. Our priority will remain to protect the community of Kirkby Lonsdale and keep our guests safe.
Stay safe, look after yourselves and your loved ones and look for the rainbow in the storm
